Wovi: Personalized Stories

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Wovi mobile application ("Wovi", "the app", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use it. Wovi is operated by Buğrahan Çamlıbel ("the Developer"). By using the app you agree to this policy.

Who the app is for

Wovi lets a parent or guardian create personalized, illustrated stories with narration for their children. The app is intended to be downloaded and operated by adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Information we collect

• Anonymous account identifier. We use Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous account for you so your stories and settings can be saved. This is an automatically generated identifier and does not include your name or email.
• Content you create. The story themes, prompts (e.g. a child's first name or a story idea you type), and generated stories are stored so the app can display your library.
• Usage and diagnostic data. Information about how you interact with the app (such as screen views, taps, and feature usage) to operate and improve the app.
• Device and advertising identifiers. For users on the free, ad-supported tier, our advertising partner may collect a device/advertising identifier and advertising data.
• Purchase information. When you subscribe, the App Store processes your payment and our subscription provider records the status of your subscription. We never receive your full payment card details.

How we use information

• To create, store, and display your personalized stories and narration.
• To provide and maintain core app functionality and your subscription.
• To understand usage through analytics and to improve the app.
• To show advertising in the free version of the app.

AI-generated content

Stories and images are generated using third-party generative AI services (Google Gemini). The prompts you provide are sent to that service to produce a story. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information in prompts.

Advertising and tracking (free version)

The free version displays ads through Google AdMob. With your permission (requested via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt), AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to deliver and measure personalized ads. If you do not grant permission, you will still see ads, but they will be less personalized. A paid Wovi Premium subscription removes ads.

We use the following service providers, each with its own privacy policy:

• RevenueCat (subscription management) — revenuecat.com/privacy

Data retention and deletion

We keep your content and account data while you use the app. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the email below, and we will delete it within a reasonable period unless we are required to retain it by law.

Your choices

• You can manage ad tracking permission in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
• You can request access to or deletion of your data via the contact email below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
